MobiTop allows cellphone users to download DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected ringtone, music, image, video through SMS/WAP
The User:
- Visits the web site
- Clicks on the link to access the resource
- Follows the intructions on his screen
- Dials a number on his phone
- Enters the resource number shown on his screen
- Enters the cellphone number which will receive the resource
The Platform:
- Sends a WAP Push SMS to the cellphone with a WAP link to the requested resource
- Waits for the cellphone to connect through WAP
- Indentifies the cellphone model among 10,000 different models and firmware version
- Protects the requested resource on the fly based on the cellphone DRM (Digital Rights Management) protection version supported
- Delivers the protected resource to the cellphone
